The Toyota Avalon is unchanged for 2012, except for all-season floor mats added as standard equipment.
The Avalon uses a 3.5-litre V6 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. It comes in a single trim line, called the XLS.
Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, four-CD/MP3 stereo with JBL audio, auxiliary input and USB, XM satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, eight-way power heated leather seats, two-position driver's side memory, reclining rear seats with pass-through, keyless entry, navigation system with backup camera, Optitron electronic gauges, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, illuminated vanity mirrors, auto up/down windows, cargo net, woodgrain and leather-wrapped tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, all-season floor mats, cruise control, garage door opener, driver's side knee airbag, active front head restraints, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals and driver's side auto-dimming, front and rear splash guards, power sunroof, variable intermittent wipers, automatic headlamps, and fog lamps.
