DTB Customer Vehicle Status
Sold Orders
- Sold Orders are entered daily and in the order they are received. Some order combinations have longer wait times due to demand exceeding supply.
- Sold Orders have a particular nomenclature: SO0000###### (two letters S+O, four zero’s and six numbers)
- Any change in colour, trim or production cut will result in a new Sold Order number. That will require a sales manager to look it up.
- Sold Orders that get filled will be assigned a Vehicle Tracking Number (VTN)
Wait times will be determined by how many vehicles are built against demand. Increased production speeds things up; decreased production slows things down. In the event other guest orders are cancelled or changed, the waiting time will be reduced.
Vehicle Tracking Numbers
Some vehicles will skip the sold order process with a Vehicle Tracking Number (VTN) if:
- They were sold out of ‘open stock’ production or we traded available stock to match a customer's sold order.
- This will also apply to any TRD PRO, RAV PRIME or BZ4X as they are manually assigned by Toyota Canada.
- Destination Management will track and search vehicle status by VTN after fulfilment, not Sold Order numbers
Note: Information is updated daily.
